Foundation for future leaders International is a professional youth development organization focused on preapring young people for success in the global marketpalce.

Q. What does the Foundation do ?

The foundation organizes strategic and creative seminars, conference and projects to inspire and instruct young people in the areas of leadership, enterpreneurship, career development, investments and personal development.

Q. How long has the Foundation been in existence?

The foundation was registered in 1995 as an NGO.

Q. What makes the Foundation's work relevant?

There is stiff competition in the global market due to the increase in the rate at which graduates are being produced as against the rate at whic jobs are being created. It calls for extra qualities, knowledge and skills otherwise known as peak performance skills or competencies that will give the graduate a competitive advantage in the market.

The corporate world also complains about the gap between academic trainnig and the competencies they expect graduates to possess which are usually lacking thus calling for complementary efforts towards developing our human capital base.

At Foundation for Future Leaders International, the approach we use is that of teaching young people how to fish instead of giving them fish.

Q. Who can join the Foundation?

Anyone who desires to develop a positive mental attitude, acquire relevant knowledge, develop the skills and build networks to achieve fulfilment and success in the global marketplace.

Q. How are the chapters run?

Each chapter is semi-autonomous with five core executives who manage the activities of the chapter with supervision and support from the National Coordinator from the head office. Each chapter has its own general meetings and projects that they run. They al have their different meeting times and venue as well.

Q. What other projects run by the Foundation can i benefit from?

There are four of such projects: the Future Leaders Investment Club (FLIC), Possibility Forum television and radio programs and Board (Interview) Room Academy.

FLIC is a long-term investment and insurance club with the objective of inculcating the culture of savings and investment in young people, make them financially literate and offer them high yields on their investments. You make a minimum monthly contribution of between GHC5 and GHC10 into FLIC account at any GCB or NIB branch. For more information, visit www.flicghana.org

Possibility Forum is a weekly inspirational and insightful television and radion program that shares principles that are geared towards preparing young people for success in global marketplace. It is broadcast weekly on GTV every Thursday at 8:00pm and radio version on CITI 97.3 FM every Sunday between 9pm and 10pm.

The Board Room Academy is an educational/inspirational television reality program that gives viewers and members an oppurtunity to experience the corporate world by going through a series of trainning sessions, interviews and then job attachment in corporate Ghana. It is broadcast on GTV every thursday at 8:00pm.

Eagles Camp is an annual motivational conference that is contributing to the ongoing process of developing and empowering young business executives, students and emerging leaders through motivation, insight and thought provoking presentations and discussions.

Q. How do i become a member of the Foundation?

Pick up and fill a membership registration form, add a passport picture and pay the registartion fee. An ID card will be produced for you as evidence of being a member. but you will have to belong to a chapter.

Q. Where can i join the Foundation?

The foundation has tertiary campus and commuity chapters in all the regions of Ghana. Visit our website to learn of the chapter nearest to you. www.ffli.org

Q. How do i become a member if there's no chapters in my locality?

you can start one in your locality/school if there is none there. Just contact the national coordinator and he will guide and support you to start one.

Q. What happens to my membership after i leave school?

Your membership continues after school. You become a part of the community chapters or you can continue attending campus chapter meetings.
